Making a financial donation

Why would I want to donate?

St Paul’s Centre does amazing work in and around Crewe. We help people get back on their feet when they need it most, and we enrich lives through such things as offering training opportunities.

You or your family might have been touched by the kindness and help that you have received from St Paul’s Centre and as a result want to give something back. St Paul’s Centre would be delighted to receive any donation that you wish to give.

St Paul’s Centre is committed to help all local residents to live rewarding, dignified and purposeful lives – giving joy and hope to every day and all people regardless of creed or colour.

Your financial contribute to the work of St Paul’s Centre will help to provide the resources needed to sustain our reaching out. Many of our running costs are meet through income from charitable activity however this does not fund developments. Our current development fundraising priorities for 2017/18 are:

  • A replacement furniture collection vehicle costing £27,000
  • Upgrading access areas to the rear of St Paul’s Centre costing £15,000
  • New computers for the computer club £2,000

Send a cheque. Please make your cheque payable to “St Paul’s Centre ”. If you are a UK tax payer, please can you Gift Aid your donation which will add an extra 20%. All you need to do is to give your consent and advise us of your postcode when sending the cheque. The address you should send your donation to is:

Thank you on behalf of the 240 families each year who receive furniture to start a new life and the 1500 who sit to eat food they need but can’t buy, and the 360 people who buy a cycle for less than a weeks bus fare or the 16 vulnerable adults who enjoy meaningful work experience. At St Paul’s Centre we employ 16 local people and provide room for over 40 people to volunteer more than 7000 hours each year.

Donate a piece of furniture or an unused bike –

we are committed to recycling items that can still be useful to others. Some of these items are given to those in need. Other items are sold and the money is re-invested in the work of St Paul’s Centre.

Offer to volunteer. We have lots of opportunities to volunteer, for example helping out at our Food Bank. Click here to find out more.
Take part in a sponsored event, for example, run for us in the Great North Run or get on your bike and ride Coast to Coast. These are great ways to help us raise money and you get fit in the process too.
