St Paul’s is still busy during the Pandemic and in need of all kinds of furniture and household goods for our community re-use work.
We are planning to reopen for our furniture sale on Friday 16 April 2021, from 9.30 to 12.30 (note new times). Sales will then be held every Friday at 9.30.
Please note that we are currently not collecting any furniture from the community but please call back after 12th April when we will schedule bookings for future weeks. Furniture donations can still be dropped off at our rear entrance in St Paul’s Street, anytime between 9.30 and 3.30 Monday to Friday.
We are in particular need of wardrobes, chests of drawers, and single or double beds (not kingsize please) with good quality mattresses.
Furniture and food for people in need
We are continuing our work of supporting people who are in urgent need of furniture through our referral process. Our food bank continues to operate through our referral process. Referring agents include health visitors, social workers, housing associations and Citizens Advice.
If you would like to donate food for St Paul’s Pantry then please do so between the hours of 9:30 to 3:30 Monday to Friday at the back gate opposite Asda Car Park. Press the bell and a staff member will attend. Please wear a mask at all times.
Please regularly check the website and our Facebook page for updates as things develop in these challenging times.
Please take care.
